Types of Industrial Silos
Tower silo (vertical)
These are tall, cylindrical structures, usually made of stainless steel. They make excellent use of vertical space, offer high capacity, and allow for efficient gravity-fed unloading. Their installation requires a solid foundation. They are used to store grains, cement, minerals, and bulk products in a variety of industries.
Metal silo (stainless or carbon steel)
These silos are robust, durable, and corrosion-resistant (especially in stainless steel). They are easy to clean and suitable for demanding industrial applications. While more expensive, they offer a long service life. They are common in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and materials industries.
