Process Tanks

Falco process tanks are designed for mixing, heating, cooling, and product conditioning operations, providing precise control over processing conditions. Manufactured from stainless steel, they offer reliable solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and cosmetic industries.

We design and manufacture custom process tanks tailored to the characteristics of each product and its specific viscosity, temperature, pressure, and agitation requirements, with optional fabrication in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division 1.

Key Features

Agitation Options

Marine Propeller Agitators

Available depending on process requirements.

Generate strong, efficient axial flow, making them ideal for mixing low- to medium-viscosity liquids while minimizing dead zones inside the tank.

Axial-Flow and Radial-Flow Turbines

Axial-flow turbines move the product vertically to promote uniform mixing and keep solids suspended. Radial-flow turbines direct energy outward, making them suitable for chemical reactions and more intensive mixing applications.

Anchor Agitators with Scrapers

Low-speed agitators that continuously sweep the tank walls to prevent product buildup or scorching. Ideal for high-viscosity formulations and temperature-sensitive products.

High-Shear Mixers

Quickly break down, disperse, or emulsify ingredients within the tank. Ideal for creams, cosmetics, adhesives, and stable emulsions.

Dual Agitation Systems (Propeller + Anchor)

Combine high-speed mixing at the center of the tank with wall scraping to process complex or multiphase products while maintaining uniformity.

Sanitary and Industrial Mechanical Seals

Prevent leakage around the agitator shaft. Sanitary seals are designed for easy cleaning and compatibility with Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) systems, while industrial seals are engineered to withstand aggressive chemicals and demanding operating conditions.

Fixed-Speed and VFD-Controlled Motors

Fixed-speed motors operate at a constant speed, while variable frequency drives (VFDs) allow operators to adjust agitator RPM according to each processing stage, optimizing energy consumption and mixing performance.
